Here at ThinkLiveNatural, we love natural health and beauty products. We’re all about using products with minimal synthetic ingredients and low negative impact on the planet, whilst still looking good of course. Although we know that natural is a word thrown around quite often, we know good natural products when we see them.

With this in mind, we review Lola’s Apothecary…

Devon-based brand Lola’s Apothecary was born out of a passion of creating homemade beauty products. What first began as Lola, the founder, creating products for her sensitive skin, grew as others wanted the same. The demand for luxury natural skincare was there. This is where Lola’s Apothecary comes in. Now run by Lola and Dominic, the brand believes in skincare as an integral part of one’s self-care ritual. They aim to bring back, in their words ‘the sophistication and decadence of luxury cosmetics… into the realm of natural beauty’. However, this does not come at the cost of the environment. Their products are all-natural, ethically-sourced within the UK and where possible, free from synthetic fragrance, mineral oils, sulphates and parabens. Each product is carefully crafted, using high-quality ingredients and botanical extracts to ensure an enjoyable, multi-sensory experience.

The Products

The first thing to notice about Lola’s Apothecary is their packaging. The three items we received were extremely detailed. The bath and shower oil was packaged in a glass bottle which was encased in a black gift box decorated with their brand ethos and a positive affirmation. Likewise, the tea and honey were decorated with flowers that are very suitable for the brand’s holistic ethos.

Now onto the products we received…

Delicate Romance Balancing Bath & Shower Oil – A rich, concentrated bath and shower oil enriched with dried rose and spices and skin nourishing sweet almond and rapeseed oil as well as  fragrant essential oils such as sweet orange, geranium and sandalwood oil. This bath and shower oil is a multi-use product, either pour a few drops in your bath, massage onto skin or add a few drops into hot water to enjoy the relaxing scents.

Raw Devon Flower Honey – Raw, soft set honey locally sourced from Dartmoor National Park, Devon. Add a teaspoon of this to the wellness tea for a soothing, hot drink.

Rainbows & Whirlwinds Energising Wellness Tea – Created in collaboration with London Tea Club, this green mate tea is infused with spearmint, gingko, nettle, rose and calendula. Drink throughout the day for a relaxing break to a busy day.

The Verdict

From their detailed packaging and high-quality ingredients, we think Lola’s Apothecary is a number one choice for luxury natural beauty. We love that wellness is at the heart of their brand and can’t wait to see what’s next for this brand. You can find out more about Lola’s Apothecary on their websiteFacebook, Twitter and Instagram.
